Lexan Door Windows??

Lexan Door Windows??
For the guys on here that have installed Lexan for the door windows, how did you mount it securely?? I have a CRX and there is not much of a lip at the top or the bottom of the window frame to rivet the windows onto. Did you have to weld tabs to the window frame or just use what is there????

we had absolutely no problem attaching the lexan to our crx doors. For certain spots, you need to put a washer behind the rivet for a little better holding surface

What are you using for doors stock or aftermarket fiberglass? all i did was traced the stock glass and then installed the lexan like it was original and put 4 screws thru the bottom rubber, 2 at the top of the window. Sorry don't really have any Up close pics but u can look in my sig.

I'm using stock doors and i'm going to be putting the lexan on the outside of the window frame (thats what seems to be the common way). I'm just not sure how to rivet the lexan to the top edge of the door. Whats a safe way to install it???
