88-91 Civic front end alignment Q's
I am trying to get my front end a little closer to straight before I try and get it to the alignment shop..major toe out on one side after engine/trans swap. And I cant seem to figure out any way to get the tie rod to thread out which would push the tire back in to where it should be. I am just wanting to get it close
I broke the jam nuts loose, even removed the tie rod from the steering knuckle..hoping it would thread back into the steering rack but that didn't do anything to help either. The thread side of the tie rod end dosen't have a notch to hold with a wrench as you turn the end.
Can anyone help me out..I don't want to shred a brand new tire on the way to the alignment shop

Just to the inside (toward the center of the car) the rod is boxed so you can fit a (14mm I think) wrench on it. Sometimes you will have to push the boot in to access it.
