I searched already but didnt come up with what I was looking for. I just bought an 03 EP3 civic SI used. It didnt come with an owners manual. All I have is 1 key and no key fob. When I turn off the car though the little security key flashes on the cluster. So I am assuming it has keyless and an alarm from the factory.

My question is can I just go on ebay and buy a keyless fob from an 03 civic si and then program it to work with my car?

 

They "key" that's flashing on the dash is the immobilizer indicator. Has nothing to do with keyless entry.

With that said though, that car came standard with keyless entry, so yes, you should be able to purchase the transmitter and program it to the car.

 

go to honda and figure out the part #. even though all the fobs look the same, apparently there are different fobs for different vehicles, and i'm not sure if they're compatible. there is a thread on how to program it once you get it, if you can't find it let me know and i'll tell you the short version.
