Default need help with REV-LITE

have any of you guys intalled the REV-LITE in your teg?
if you have, how did you wired it? did you follow the web-site's instructions?
where did you guys get the signal from?

From the website:

Simple 3 wire hook up
Rev-Lite has only 3 wires to hook up. Simple connections for:

1)12 volt power (via your accessories circuit in the fuse box)
2) earth to the cars chassis
3) tacho signal, usually from the negative terminal on your ignition coil. If you own a multi coil car you will only need to locate the tacho signal from your computer which will be avalible either from the wiring loom near the computer itself or from the ign power module


You might try reading the instructions.

thanks dude,
i just think the run to the - terminal is kind of long. i was hoping that maybe somebody in here had picked up the signal from a different poing. no biggy,
if i have to run it to the coil oh well............
