ok, so the new 1.6l is in, and i'm doing the wiring. heres my last question...

all (3 of em) of the mpfi swap instructions that i have talk about how the distributor should have 2 empty plugs to hook up the Multi Port Crank Angle Sensor... refers to it as an "Si DIstributor" so i look at the one that was on the 1.6L motor, and its only got 1 unused plug... so i think, ok i need to buy an SI distributor. so i go onto ebay to look for this distributor, and its EXACTLY the same as the one that was on the 1.6... so uhh, wtf do i do?

how the heck do i hook up this crank angle sensor????

you can just use the square plug and just solder the two extra wires together. or just find a round si plug and do it that way.

 

yeah i used that site too.


the problem is that the tutorials say there should be two unused pins, but there is only one on the plug... they all say that one of the wires at the connector will be blue with a green stripe, the other will be blue with yellow stripe -- but neither exist.

wtf am i missing?!
