the top oen is ths front one sorry I just got back from work and am tired. And yes the springs aren't compressed they aren't on a car how much will they compress if I put them on because I have wide tires and I can't drop it 3 inches wiht out putting some fender flares on but I don't have the money to do that because I want to get my Merkur running again. So I want to know if I can put these on or if they will drop 3 or more inches when they are compressed with out putting them on the actual car.

yeah, but the thing is, your springs ARE compressed as pictured. they are preloaded even when they are installed only on the shock. but then, they look like crappy aftermarket drop springs, so they may not be all that preloaded.

if youre asking how much more the springs are going to compress MORE once you install the shock/spring and drop the car on the ground, then theres no real way to tell off the car. (you could theoretically calculate things, but there are too many other variables you wont know and need to measure anyway).
