Will DA Rear Trailing Arm's bolt up to EG? measurements are the same!
that's my question. reason i'm asking...is because my friend is doing a rear disk conversion on his eg using DC RTA's...he happened to have to a set of DA RTA's laying around and we decided to compare them...we measured them in all different dimensions with a tap measure and wire. They're the same size...so i was thinking of putting them on my eg since i want to do a rear disk swap aslo.i'm just checking in here to see if anyone can confirm this and if anyone has done it or know of it being done?

from going through like 50 threads in the search...in one of them i discovered that someone said there might be a problem with the fitment of the parking brake(e-brake) cable when you install the DA RTA's on an EG. is this true? anyone with experience of knowledge about this?

Yes they will work. You must use ebrake cables from a car with rear discs though. EG si or ex cables should work fine. I'm using delsol si rta's on my ef with da ebrake cables...everything fit as it should.

thanks alot for valuable info
i need calipers for the rotors since they don't have. I'm gonna go to a jap used dealer and get DA or DC calipers

As long as the locations of the three bushings are identical, I would say use them. The e-brake cable doesn't go anywhere near the LCA, so they have nothing to do with each other. The only reason you need different cables is because Discs & drums have very different e-brake systems.
The major difference between DA & DC LCAs is that the DC ones are designed to mount the ABS sensor wires. The major difference is a special bend in the LCA that ramps the ABS wire towards the outside of the sub-frame (may also serve as a "weak-point" to protect sub-frame). Also, the DC LCAs have the screw holes for the ABS wire brackets.
None of those difference matter if you don't have ABS...
