GIRL PROJECT: My 1993 EG6 hatch Complete build w/ Pics - TO BE CONTINUED

Sorry, looks like somebody got a little jealous that his girlfriend's thread was getting all this attention and he took it upon himself to log in as me and lock it. Allow me to tell you the full story -
Since the beginning I've been wondering about how much this project was going to cost. I'm 25 years old, I really want a house and a wedding and all that happy hunky dory stuff. Awhile back I said, can't we just buy a Civic already done for less than what we are going to spend rebuilding this hatch? And he replied, well but it won't be clean or swapped and etc. And so I thought this is true. But as we spent more and more time thinking about it.....we kind of just realized we don't want to really put that much time and money into it at the stage we are at right now - we have other things we'd like to spend our money on. I've spent the last year going back to grad school, so if I have $5k to spend on a car, I should spend it on paying off my debt. Plus space is a big issue with neither of us having a garage. It's just a LOT of work, that I'm not prepared to spend my ENTIRE SUMMER and my ENTIRE PAYCHECK doing.
But, so the saga will continue. We are selling both hatches (provided the right offer comes along) and since we both actually agree and like the del sol, we'll probably opt for one of those. I'm not looking for anything crazy, just really a daily driver that I can have fun with. It'd be nice not to have car payments once my lease is up.
So.....if you are interested in the EG6's or any of the misc parts send me a PM or an AIM. OR if you have a clean del sol up for grabs, send me those too!
Thanks for your interest in my thread. And who knows - maybe i'll be building the del sol instead,.....or then there's always my rsx-s that can be boosted.....you know how we women are and how we change our minds!

I'm really disappointed because I really did want to build the car from scratch. It would be something I'd be really really proud of in the end. But, when you step back and you are a little more realistic and realize that everything down to the fuel lines and brake lines and carpet and door panels and EVERYTHING is missing....it's a MUCH bigger project than I think I can handle.
it happens. when you sit back and think about putting those things on it sounds easier said than done.
you gather up all the parts you need then realize...wow this is not what i expected.
sometimes its just not the right time to try and do that stuff....these projects take alot of time when you try to work daily and get your normal things done...

Take care of your priorities first. Cars are the worst investment unless your building a classic.

Even classics are, most of them, very bad investments.
