what cold air intake
i know there were many posts on this but i cant seem to locate the awnser im looking for. i need to know if i buy one for a crx or a gsr. (its gettin a b18c1) but i am not relocating my battery.
well be a little mor elaborate please. cause i know that they are all diff shapes and diameters. so whats the car to buy for? cause im just gonna get a cheapie on ebay and get a good filter for it. i just dont know if i get crx or gsr?????
I would imagine you still need the CRX intake. AEM makes hybrid intakes, take a look at those. I have an EM1 intake on my CRX, and it's a straight tube from the manifold to the bumper. That won't work with the battery still in the bay. The CRX intakes I've seen will curve around the battery, so that's what you want.
Ok I checked AEM's site for you, you want part #21-5002C, CRX with B18C1

Sorry I just saw that you want an ebay one... so I don't know what to tell you. I know AEM and other companies seem very overpriced for what you are getting (a metal tube), but remember you're also paying for the R&D that went into the piece. I don't like the prices either, but I feel that you should support the companies that are developing this stuff, the other ones are copying them, and if nobody buys from them there won't be new innovations in the market.

just a warning.. I know everyone says its pretty hard to hydrolock, but the other night it was pouring like a monsoon, i couldnt see ****, and i hit a BIG puddle at 1/4 throttle.. my car stalled out.. it wouldnt start for about 2 mins, i gave it some gas while trying to start, and it started up.. it was gurgling and shaking my car for about 2-3 minutes before it burned all the water out.. be careful! 2 of my friends have hydrolocked their motors.. it can happen in deep puddle if you are gunning it.
