Dude, Subaru's aren't necessarily the best rally cars--they don't have much for 2 wheel drive classes.

A CRX isn't a bad choice for a 2 wheel drive rally car.

If you're just goign to be rally crossing, you'll want to get a skidplate (1/4" aluminum probably), and some rally tires. If you can afford it get some rally suspension parts, like Hot Bits, or if you're really on a tight budget the Billstien HD's will work.

I'd agree, suspension and tires first.
Honda's are great rally cars light and fast, there are three already entered for STPR (PA) in a couple weeks.
At Rim (California) a couple weeks ago, there was also three, including PROrallyITR's Type R.
Oregon had 4 including Rotten's integra and a CRX.
Rally is a very expensive motorsport. The entries are $600-900. Subaru's are nice for rich guys, but 2wd will teach you more about traction and momentum, which is the key to speed on gravel. Then when your Al Capone, you can take these skills to a big$$ sube.
Plan on killing your first rally car...
