Bushings all around, what to choose?
I'm doing the bushings on a friends car.
I'm looking for the best ones at a fair price that is a good daily driver bushing, no squeeks please
.
I've read alot against poly on a daily, that's fine, it's expensive too haha.
Should I tell him to get a stock kit from Honda? Should I get some regular aftermarket one? Input is fun.

black energy suspension bushings
They are graphite impregnated for quiet operation. Just make sure you lube them up with the supplied silicone.

Although the black ES bushings are graphite impregnated, the graphite has no effects on the lubrication of the bushing. The graphite will add to bushing life, but does very little for lubrication. A word of advise is to ditch the silicone based grease that ES provides. Their grease is horrible when compared to a good anti-seize grease. Any anti-seize grease with graphite in it will be a very good step up from the grease that ES supplies.

i have never had a problem with noise using the supplied silicone, but to each his own. But i am sure any good silicone that is thick enough should last for a while.

As you put it, any grease is better than none. But, when it comes time to re-grease, check out a graphite grease. You won't want to go back.
