Default 88 DX is it worth it??

ok guys i am actually a crx guy but my sister is needing a car and i happened to find a accord for pretty cheap...the car is a Dx accord hatchback automatic and it only has 47,000 miles on it...they want 1,700 for it and i didnt know if that was a pretty good deal or not...like i said i am more into the crxs but i do know that honda motors last a long time and with only 47,000 i figured it would be a good reliable car for her.
what do you guys think...is it worth it....how much would something like this normally run for???
thanks for all the help.

KBB in good codition with that millage comes to about 1800 so I would say it's a fair deal but........

with only 47,000 miles you are going to want to find out a little more about the car.... if it is the original engine you are going to want to find out what has been done because mileage is not the only variable when it comes to changing parts. If everthing checks out though I would go for it offer them 1500 and see what happens.

Good luck.

That car is carburated. I highly reccomend not to buy it if it has the slighest running problem even down to a random stumble at idle. Once that carb starts to go south it's a very tough task to get it running right again.
