New to Honda, help.
Wow, that took a while to read all those, but some questions got answered that way.
Just got a 95 Accord EX from an auction, think I got a good deal
. Only has 122K miles on it. Is there anything about this year/model I should watch for/be aware of?
Got a few really dumb questions if i may, the little red led that is above the radio, and to the right of the flasher and clock, is that supposed to show that security is set? It stays on all the time.
I plan to do a tune up and oil change, have no idea the history of the car. Anything to look out for here?

also, is there a way to get a new keyless clicker for the car or do I have to get a new security system? I mean, if I go to Honda dealer, can he look up the VIN and get me one that will work with my car, or am I getting a new box?
You need to find out if the timing belt has been changed. It should have been changed at 90,000 miles. If it hasn't been changed, your engine is running on borrowed time ( could go at any time ). I think the light you're talking about is for the anti-theft radio. It should blink slowly, not stay lit continuously. You can probably get a new clicker programed for your car.
Is there a link that can tell me how to remove the radio so i can get the serial number? It wants the code, and i understand that i need to pull the radio to find the serial number and/or model number. Also, how do you enter the code?
first look in the glove box or under trunk lid for a sticker with a 5 digit code on it.
Otherwise you gotta pull the venter console out to remove radio........PITA

timing belt and water pump would be something to look into replacing.
then do spark plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor, oil change, air filter (if needed) clean the IACV, change tranny fluid, flush coolant, valve adjustment.
those are a few things that will keep your wallet smaller and your free time down
have fun
