Default ctr/itr cams question

k heres the deal.. im gonna be swapping in a b16 in a 93-95 civic coupe over the summer. My plan always has been and still is to eventually go boost when $$ allows. However I already have a vafc2 and an ebay intake w/ k&n filter lying around. So i figure why not just throw them on, get it tuned and call it a day while im buying parts for the turbo setup. Then my mind began to wander and i was thinking of cheap ways to get some more hp from just the swap. (ya know cuz im gonna be driving this without boost for prolly around a years time. ) I came up with maybe some itr/ctr cams? My question is this: These can be put in with no modification correct? These are an oem part so I will not have to also purchase valve springs correct? What kind of gains should i expect? Basically if i can throw these in while doing the swap along with the intake and vafc and pick up like 15 whp or so I'll do it. I just dont want to waste a bunch of money that could be put towards my turbo setup. Thanks in advance. (and i know... shame on me for going boost and asking ?'s in the all motor forum )

Type r cams are always a good investment, and not only will you benefit from them now but you will also make more power with them when you do boost it. You can put them in without upgrading your valvetrain as long as you are keeping the stock rev limit. I dunno about 15 additional whp, but you will notice an increase in power...I've done it many many times.

id say go with the ctr because the intake cam is a little bit bigger than itr
