Fujita CAI
Im in the market to get a CAI.... I've looked around, read reviews, AEM seems to be the favorite... but i noticed the fujita intakes being sold at a lot of places, but no threads show up when i searched here on HT, and no one's heard of them. They seem to be well made.. anyone have a opinion on them??
its an intake i wouldnt really worry about name brand just pick up a aem or ebay special or something.
also the password jdm short ram pwns all (whale *****)

well being a religious JDM stickler I would say the best to start is definitely the ARC intake, secondly the CF Password JDM ripoff intake of J's CF whale ***** and then lastly HKS or something at least japanese. Not an american company running since 1985. It is all opinion though, the best flowing has always been OEM intake filters which are tested to flow the best by engineers until they are blue in the face. We Americans just like intakes that flow straighter and look prettier when the suck water up out of a puddle. lol. All in all, get a cone filter that fits into your stock air box cut off the paper element filter and use the neck from the old one to seal the box and put your reuseable one on. Same stuff.
Good luck

+1 Agreed. Spend the other money on maintence or other parts(like save for a header)

Prove it
Whats so special about the J's?
Here is a dyno comparision between an ITR 3" CAI vs the J's Racing CF Intake:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1194128
ITR 3" CAI wins.
Only benifits that I can see from the J's is the throttle responce and bling factor if your a car show person. The J's suffers from heatsoak.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Awesome. finally i was getting tired of people praising that intake with no proof and without even owning it.

I have never even heard of Fujita. Hey, it "looks" cool. You also get a duffle bag and hat:

That looks like an Apexi filter

I think it takes cues from Apexi and AEM. If you go to that website, they have dyno pots for several cars. I would love to test it out but I don't want to drop $200+. It appears to be a very high quality item.
I saw these people products at the display booth at the IAS (Sema)In Ft. Washington Pa.
Seemed like a pretty decent product. I checked over the welds real quick and it's looked nice. Not sure what the price runs but I would to go for an intake off ebay.
I believe they are a new/up and coming company.

Ive had an aem cold air on my last car cost 200 , and on my current car i bought a ebay intake for 35 bucks
Sad part is i didnt notice a difference from either besides noise and a bit more response . When it comes to intakes if your not going all out like an ARC just go cheap and get it out of the way . K&N drop in isnt a bad idea .

if you live in ca, id get a AEM just so you dont have to deal with smog/cops.
If elseware, id just buy the cheapest thing you can used and a good K&N filter
BTW my AEM CAI is up for sale 120 shipped

One thing I have to add, I don't own teh Password JDM intake or the ARC, I believe the stock one is best, but those ARE altermatives. the stock intake is 3.25 in, its big and the filter is big so they do fine. like I siad they are engineered to do well and last etc, etc. So I was just putting in my 2 cents. Sorry if I caused issues.
How about the AEM V2? Anyone had good experience with that big ol thing? I I know the primary in like 4 to 5", AEM now has a DRYFLOW air filter so the oil doesn't leak into the intake and get into the air temp and MAP sensor, NICE. About time.
