Default Stock muffler question

I'm 99.9% sure about this, but I thought I'd ask before I gave the buyer a definite answer. I have my old GSR's muffler in the garage. A guy wants to buy it for his LS. Mine was a '94, his is a '97. Bolts right up, correct?

They do have different part numbers. I know that part for sure. The diameter of the piping may have something to do with that too.

So if I read that right, he'd just need to have a muffler shop shorten the b-pipe by a few inches?

you have the full exhaust? or just the muffler? i thought you were asking if the pipe diameter is the same size. sorry.

i am 99.9% sure that the GSR full exhaust will not fit on a LS.

GSR/=LS
however...
LS=Type R

Muffler only. One of the threads in the earlier post seemed to indicate it was just a matter of shortening the b-pipe a few inches?
