my ecu acts up when its cold.in cold days it wont let me rev up over 5500 rpm.once it gets hot it lets the engine rev over 8800.lol its sorta cool to see the tach go all the way and still want to go more but the plastic wont let it.i can also hear the engine over rev like a motha.but here is the weirdest thing.when i look at the cel codes it shows that my ecu is is complatly damaged. but the dam car runs.my friend came over so i can get a double opinion on what i was seeing.and yes. the code that it was giving was for a damaged ecu according to the haynes 88-91 civic book.thsese problems make me think that maybe we shouldnt let the job of the honda 4 banger to a computer.lol jm. but any ideas on what could be wrong with this pos. o btw its not chipped , i runing a d16y8 with crx si stock manifolds and obd0 stock ecu. but i dont think that maters.lollol. it makes me laugh
