I know you get what you pay for but if I can get a cat for $30 as apposed to $200 well hmmmmm,I'm gonna lean towards $30!! It is stainless and it is ebay but it can't be that bad right?? Any input on these would be great, all opinions good and bad let the **** fly!!!!

All depends on if you have emmisions testing. If you do, don't get it. That thing wouldn't filter anything.

Looks exactly like a resonator from the inside

Anyone know where you can get a converter cheap?? I'd rather put my money into the motor.Like I said if I have to I will but if I can save a hundred bucks or so that'd be great.Where the cheapest place I can get a decent one, junkyard maybe?? Which cars are interchangeable?? I have an 88 civic hatch. Thanks for all the info guys.

I got a universal at a local muffler shop. Cost me about $100 installed

I was looking at those too. Too cheap and too much like a resonator. We just ditched e-check here in Ohio, but I'm sure those bastards will come up with something else.

Like yellowrex said, muffler shops usually have them at a reasonable price.

Definitely don't waste your money on that thing.

Repalcement Auto Parts sells some pretty good inexpensive cats on ebay. I've used two of them so far (on two different vehicles) and passed emissions with flying colors.
