Honda Prelude All Model Preludes

would i blow the bottom end out of my 93 prelude si if i stuck a h22 head on it?

Default would i blow the bottom end out of my 93 prelude si if i stuck a h22 head on it?

would i blow the bottom end out of my 93 prelude si if i stuck a h22 head on it everything on the car is stock im trying to create a frankinstein engine iv been told that if i put a h22 vtech head on it it will be a torgue monster but the i heard that the bottom end on the h23 is weak and will problem blow up if so im gonna do a full h22 swap i just need a little help not remarks

and if i were to do the full swap would my stock tranny bolt up so i know how much money it should take me

The H23 crank isn't balanced to rev up to 7500, so you won't be able to take full advantage of an H22 head. It'd be easier just to do an H22 swap

not even close,

nothing will blow up. no you wont be able to use the full range of the h22 head however you compression will be pretty low. so if you do that your going to want some kind of forced induction. so if its power your after with not fi just go with the h22 swap
