Default difference between f22b1 head and f23a1 head?

im wondering if there is any difference between the f23a1 and f22b1 cylinder heads.. i know both are vtec.. but would the combustion cc's and the cam profile be the same ?

also what head studs would i need to use to put this head on my f22a1?

H23 head studs will work for an F23 head to F23 block I don't see why they wouldn't work on F23 head to F22A block.

well i mnow the manifold flows better because the design of it is more like the h22/h23 manifolds.. but idk bout the bolt right on part.. i think the ports/ there locations look alittle off

F23 intake and exhaust ports are layed out differently than the F22A ports. F22A manifolds will not bolt up to an F23 head.

I don't know about flow but the F23 will direct bolt up to an F22B head, but not an F22A.

FYI - another monkey wrench for you guys, the F23A IM uses a 3 wire IACV, where the F22 uses a 2 wire IACV. If you make the IM swap you will have to figure out an adapter plate to mount your 2 wire IACV to the F23 IM.
