Default got a quick minime ?

So my headgasket is leaking and needs to be replaced but i can't remember what one i got for it can you guys help me out. it is the a6 block with the y8 head. i think i got the y8 gasket but i realy unsure

You can use pretty much any D headgasket. I wouldn't use an A6 one, it's paper and it sucks to replace, the metal ones just peel right off. The Y8 gasket will give you a little higher compression than the Z6, but both are fine. The Y8 gasket is also much cheaper from the dealer.

ya i had a metal one and i belive it was like 15 bucks but they had to ship it in

Y8 is 2 layers, Z6 is 3, and the A6 is silvery paper. If you want to use the A6 gasket, I have an extra.

i think i will use the z6 to get a little less compression but i deffinatly want a metal one as they last longer and come off way easy
