Window Roller
Okay, I just got my car a few weeks ago, and there was no handle for rolling the window, and I can't get it to push on to the metal thing it connects to. I asked the guy I bought it from about it and he said a mechanic looked at it and said something must be internally broken, and that the best thing to do would be to replace the door. I think that is pretty retarded.
Anyone know what could be broke? And how I could go about fixing it?

So your saying that the new roller wont go onto the little metal "****"? Maybe you dont have the right roller? I think the mechaninc is trying to bs u into buying a new door.Where did you get the roller from?
this happened to me too. most likely all the thread on the bar is out.. so go to kragens or any hardware store and buy a VISE GRIP. it works fine but looks ghetto. and power windows wont fix this problem because you need to replace the bar in order for the gears to turn it.
I got the handle off of my buddys 91 civic. It looks the exact same as the ones in my civic, so I assume it would fit. What exactly would I have to fix brand0? I'd like to get this working properly
