i need a windshield
i was removing my windshield to patcg a spot in my 87 crx restoration project. i have removed and replaced them befor but the buddy who was helpin me hadnt and u all no windshields are tricly well any way the fu@#er broke and i need to know were i can find a replacement ? ther arent many around the area is there a sight wer i can find one or will the same year civic work? well get back to me ASAP because the rain is cumin soon thanx

call an insurance company and they'll let you know who they get...OR who is the cheapest in your area! just don't tell them you're not a customer of theirs.

$150? Wow. The lowest I was quoted was $218 from Safelite. Who did the install? Local place?

Yep, it was a local place, cash in hand and no reciept. I have got 2 windshields from them and I know of a few other people that have got windshields from them. But I can't find there phono number anymore, Must be they finally got caught.

never had that problem.
But after I had to pay for a windshield, I got glass coverage. Let the rocks fly, $0 deductable for $1 a month. Best insurance investment I have ever made

I had mine replaced no problem. They just squirted the black stuff around the bead and dropped the window in, then put trim around the outside. Pretty cool. Looks great and is sealed. Just call a glass company. BTW, done in Chula Vista outside of a Junk yard cost: 90.00. Well worth the $.
