Replaced busted starter, but still car doesnt start..need help ASAP
im so pissed right now...my car wouldnt start normally...like it wouldnt start putting the key in the ignition and turning it...i would have to push start it..well ive had 3 people checked on my car to see what was the problem..and they all said it was the starter...so on friday i had replaced the starter...and still my car doesnt want to start!...it would start sometimes...but like in 15 tries...i dont know anymore...when i pump the clutch while turning the key it works sometimes...but damn..i dont want to do that everyday you know...so can someone please help me...i just got a job and my car isnt even starting correctly...i need help asap...my cousins bf said it was the battery..he told me to replace it...but today...me and my dad jumped the car and it still didnt work...need help ASAP!
damn piece of crap integras mine does the same thing i just got a new starter too maybe its a bad ground or the pressure plate.
check your grounds. that was my prob. i bought a new starter for nothin. but now i know the starter is good
probably the starter signal, there should be a bolt down connection, and a female connector that clips to it
also use a volt meter to see if both are recieving a signal

I had the same problem recently, went with 2 different rebuilt starters, Autolite and some other brand I got from a shop.
In the end I forked out the cash for the OEM starter. Never had a problen since.
I say this is one of those things you have to go with OEM
