I arrived at the beach for a morning of surfing at 5:30 am. After my session, when I arrived within view of where my car was parked it was gone. I made this discovery at about 8:30 am. I just stood there for about 15 minutes completely speechless. I just could not comprehend that my car was gone. I never had a car stolen before. All the blood, sweat, tears, and time invested in this car is gone in a matter of minutes. It just pains me to think that there are evil people out there doing this and making people's lives harder. Let's put the car aside for a minute. I'm a student teacher attending Cal State Long Beach and teaching high school at North Torrance High. That means I teach everyday from 9 to 3 for free. I have to do this for a whole semester until I can work at a public school. This means that I'm currently unemployed. In the car were my students' papers and textbooks. My wallet with credit cards and my cell phone were in the car also. If somone reading this knows who stole my car or you stole my car, go ahead and keep the car I just want my textbooks and my students' papers. I want to succeed in life by making an honest and humble living as a teacher. God will judge you. But for the rest of us who work hard for our hobby and live honest lives to earn money for our cars, keep doing what your doing. And teach your children about the importance of respecting other people's belongings and living honest lives. We can do our part in reducing the stupidity and ignorance.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. As far as value is concerned the car isn't worth much. Its an 88 Crx Si with a dohc Zc and header. Its dropped on stock Si wheels and jdm sidemarkers. I'm guessing they will take the motor, fenders, seats, and probably the bumpers. Other than that, the interior is pretty beat up.

 

I was not expecting this to happen in what appears to be such a decent neighborhood.

hopefully you get it back in one piece. my crx is built not bought. I fix my crx and repair what I break. you should ask the theives. why did you have to steal my car?
do you have nothing better to do? they prollay know what time you go to the beach ya kno. they prollay planned this for a couple of weeks. feel sorry for you. hopefully someone spots it around your area.

Every time i hear of a car getting stolen makes me want to take action into my own hands and go get the thevies my self, since the cops cant focus on just that.

damn it seems like everyday someone on here gets there car stolen. Im really sorry to hear the bad news, i am studying to be a teacher as well, best of luck with everything. Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders dont worry man good things happen to good people, keep your head up. You will fall in love again.

It's really difficult. I'm trying not to have any hate and malice in my heart because I know that there are people all over the world in worse situations than I am in. I'm essentially blessed--I have a supportive family. I'm a father. I'm married with two children. We're trying to make it on our own with what little my wife makes at a private school. My plan is to finish school ASAP so that I can get a teaching job and support my family. Anyways, thanks to everyone for the encouraging words and please keep myself and my family in your prayers.


PS. Luckily I have another car. But I'm going to have to drive it without my license--that was in the car too..

 

I hope you get your baby and your books back intact. I hope hope the thieves get their cars stolen so they know how it feels!
