2006 Honda civic lx coupe - cd player skips
Hey there guys and gals,
I have a brand new civic I have just got the car yesterday. I have tried a bunch of cds in it, an mp3 cd I burned and also store bought cds with no scratches as well as several burnt cds. I wanted to know if this is something I should be bringing the car back to the dealer to check out or if anyone has had the same problem with this new stereo system. Please help. Thanks a lot.

I have an LX coupe too that I picked up 2 weeks ago but I haven't experienced that problem. I 've only played 2 or 3 CD's but so far so good. Bring it back.
I have other problems (besides a stability issue - bad wheel alignment) like plastic pieces coming off inside the car, especially around the visors, 1 weather molding on the passenger side seems to be coming off or installed properly, etc. I should have waited for an '07. However, I did expect this car to have some problems being the first year out. I never got my hopes up. This is my 4th new Civic. My other 3 Civics had 0 problems the first few years.
I hope this is your only problem. Should be easily fixed by dealer unless you have to wait for a brand new stereo. That could take a couple of weeks.
