Default Installing bodykit on a 92 prelude rear bumper in the freaking WAY!!! help

Hey I am installing this kit on my girl's 92 prelude and I can get every piece on except the back bumper cover. her back bumper is sticking out too far and the cover will not go over it and line up with the holes. How can I remove the bumper or what do i do. It is actually a metal plate that is attached to the bumper that is sticking out too far. I cut the top portion of the plate but then I realized that the bitch is like pressed on there or something and it will take an act of god to get it off. I am sure I must be doing something wrong because why would any body make a kit that you would have to remove the bumper? I believe this is the combat kit

It looks like the rebar is in the way. In most cases, it should not be modified or cut up in any way.

Your car is not letting you put that ugly piece of **** on there. It's going to fight you the whole way and I can't say that I blame it.

Um i think i may know what the problem is.

This body kit is obviously WAY too Fast and Furious for you to handle it and get it to fit.

I think that this kit looks hot and so does my girlfriend and she is the OWNER of the car so as long as SHE likes it then that is all that matters. I know how to make it fit now. and OEM does not look best. try giving advice on the TOPIC not opinions totally unrelated to the question at hand

Well as mentioned the re-bar is in the way. Looks like you might have to cut into the kit if you want it to fit or find another rear bumper for it.
