Well i bought a cat-back from a friend and he said it was for a 2-door gs-r so I'm putting it on and all that, I mounted the cat-back up(with know axel back on yet) just with the rubber hangers and its liek 4-5 inches short from the cat and wont stretch or reach to get even close? did he sell me a ls cat-back? or amd I doing somehting wronge

 

sounds like you have an ls catback.

 

is that what ls's do on gs-r's??? not connect to the caT?

 

yea theyre 4-5 inches too short. check team integra..i explained it in your post over there a little more.

 

94-99 and 00-01 gs-r's have different lengths

 

My guess is that your friend was talking about a '00-'01 GS-R, which has a shorter B-pipe than the older GS-R's.

o yea, that too. so its a possiblity of 2 wrong exhausts that he sold u.

 

damn this sucks... I need some one who can weld a 4-5inch extention now

 

just go to meineke or some muffler shop. it shouldnt be too expensive.

 

i know that the meineke around here wont deal with anything aftermarket. just fyi
