Default just pondering

Whats up everyone? I'm just sittin here thinkin bout my '90 teg. I
don't have any money now to build it. But i was wondering if i would pick up a '98 GSR tranny for cheap from my buddy, how hard would it be to change from my cable trans to a hydrolic GSR or B16 trany for shorter gears. Also u think it would be worth the work? I'm gunna be goin with a budget ls/vtec N/A build at first and eventually when i get money go with a decent ls/vtec turbo build depending on how well i'm satisfied with the N/A build.

Dude, if you are looking for shorter gears why not pick a B16 cable tranny instead of the GSR hydro...It takes time to find good deals, but it also gives you time to save up money...Do it right the first time!

any proof that theyre weaker? ive owned several cable tranny hondas, havent had a problem with any. im pretty sure that theyre just as strong as a hydro.

I have a question? What does it take to convert from a cable tranny, to a hydro tranny. I might be picking up a DA shell, but I have a OBD1 JDM B16 with hydro tranny from my civic that I would like to use. Thanks.
