Not so much. I went with the Pro 1s because I saw a lot of people having great results with them. I also got a very good deal on them as well.
sure it wasnt sk2 stage 1 cams? there should be way more power everywhere, so the cams may need gear tuning but something doesnt seem right. How does the car idle? if its not on the lumpy side you may have non-pro1 cams.
I edited my post. The Pro1's aren't all hype, this thread just caught me at a bad time. Obviously the cams make power, they just may not suit this particular motor well. Keep pushin it bs, she's got more power in her.

There is more in the motor. Cam gear tuning, VTEC x-over, ignition timing maps. Something looks amiss. Both graphs have a dip at about 6,500; the question: why?

i agree there has got to be more power somewhere. my stock jdm gsr w/ skunk2 mani, stock header, intake, tuned on S200 made 175/135......
i dunno, just my .02

Umm look at the pic above.. Yes they ARE pro1s and yes they are stage 1s

what?
what?
Doesn't look like the engine was tuned 100%. There is a pretty big dip when vtec crosses over and another dip around 4000-5000. If it is tuned go to a different tuner. Also what did you use to tune it with?
The 1hp peak gain can be lived with if the area under the curve is fatter, which it doesnt look like it is.
How does the car idle with so much overlap? Usually with the pro1's one of the cams is retarded to reduce the overlap. But i agree with the lot here in that more tuning is needed to take advantage.

yea definately something doesnt look right, when i had my itr cams in my build and switched to Skunk2 Stage 2's i noticed a great difference from 6.5k all the way to 9.4k but i had a great ECU to go with it. are these SKunk2 Pro 1's like **** then???
i agree with the tuning. did you degree the cams in? were they swung on the dyno? the vtec crossover needs to be tweaked. It looks like vtec is set at 6300. Thats a bit high for them. i think 6 might better suit, but it depends on the motor.
Both dips in the graph greatly affect the powerband. get another tuner, or get back on the dyno if there are other circumstances with him that we dont know about
