EBC brake Pads? Red, Yellow or Blue? need help
its me PsychiatristNET i have a new name cause i was getting difficulty with the original name...
ok i drive a 1990 accord ex which should be getting more power soon (h22)... i just want to change the front brakes... cause they are squeaking and wearing out...
my driving is hard... driving in traffic on the highway stopping 120-0 lots and hard...
stopping at the last second...
basically an auto cross all day but with longer stretches...
i'm thinking either the red or blue EBC brake pads...
right now i have these carbon fibre brake pads they suck... i will never buy these pos pads again!
i want these new pads to last a long time but confused with all the colours EBC has... i was looking at the red it looked good for heavy street use... but then blue is designed for 6 hour endurence races...
yellow was for 2-3 laps so i'm thinking it wears out fast...
i want a pad that will last months with less brake fade...
your suggestions would be appreciated thanks

I have heard nothing but bad about EBC.
I would recommend for your Carbotech Panther Plus or Hawk HP+ pads. The Hawks are probably more streetable.

The best ones for you are the Red series. If the brakes still fade, move to Black. They are excellent pads, I should know, I have used both on a car before.
I hear the matrix ULTIMATE pads are the some of the best street pads. I have the matrix metal master pads for street and autoX use. They are decent, quiet and very low dusting. The ultimates are a big step up from the metal master and I will probably get a set of these soon.
