Quick O2 help (2nd sensor wanting to do with out)- delete thread please
-----EDIT---DELETE POST PLEASE----I just went ahead and placed in the 2nd OS.
I had to buy an after market Exhaust Manifold. It does have the two ports for the O2 sensor. I just dont feel like routing it to its new location at this time. The car runs. runs in loop mode if i don't have the 2nd sensor pluged-in. So i just had it latched on to my upper rad hose. Is there anyway I can cut/splice the wires so it thinks the sensor is still attached? it's a 99 civic ex.
-edit- it's a four wire sensor 2 black 1 white 1 green

The problem with that is: How do i manage the wire from getting burnt? The 2nd OS is right above the 2nd pipe going to the rest of the systems. (It's a 4-2-1). So id' have to get some heat shielding for the wire?
