im lookin to buy a 96 hatch... want to do a k20 swap. i know prolly been asked a million times. also can i do this for ten grand? and what kinda numbers at the track. and hi to the forums my name is pat and i live in nj

 

o and also i would be doing all the install. i saw a sight online that said everything needed for a k20 swap for about 5500 is that sound right or its probably crap?

 

hey pat. i'm brand new to this site too! the name's vince from cali. my friend just got an ek and he got his k20 type r engine for 5000. the mounts and rest of the parts are another 5g. so i guess if you get a type s motor it'll cost less. i think you can do it for 10,000. you'll have to cut into the frame of the engine bay though. and i think split some harnesses or something.
