spun another bearing
Ok about a month or two ago my oil pump went out and i spun all of my bearings damages the crank and rod so i went ahead and put all new pistons rods cranks oil pump timing belt and so on and today i was going to work and my **** started knocking i spun another bearing am i doing something wrong when i put my motor together the motor had less that 3000 miles on it and went threw 2 main seals and a rod bearing the main seals were never installed right so thats why they kept going out but other than that the cars oil was temperature were all good
I think possibly you may have a plugged oil gally so the oil doesn't have any way to lube up that rod bearing. Either that or another commen thing that some people do is that they sometimes put the bearings on backwards so the oil holes aren't lined up. That could also be a reason.
the first time my oil pump went out and i spun all the rod bearing but i got a new reground crank .25 on the rod bearing and im not sure on the mains and i replaced all bearing rods and piston and the oil pump and then the other day i spun another rod bearing it looked like the crank got really hot because the crank was discolored so i put all new rod bearings in it today and not 20 min after i put the damn things in its knocking again what am i doing wrong what way are the rod caps supposed to go on knotch to knotch right
Did you replace or turn the crank with all this? If not, then thats your problem.
Edit: Just noticed you said you had it turned.....did you use oversized bearings?

First I would chase out all the threads of the bolts with a tap of the correct size to get all the crud out.
Second, are you just torqing the bolts down or using a bolt stretch tool?
Have you plastigauged these to make sure the clearance is to spec? If you're using brand new/reman parts and following all specs you shouldn't be having this problem.
