Prefered replacement for ITR brake master cylinder...
Well it seems that my master cylinder has given up on me...
After trying to seach I found only an up-grade for the clutch master cylinder...which doesn't help me at all. Unfortunately I sold my last spare too...so is there any preferences to replacing this...I looked up the stock one...it runs $168 + shipping...on the following site I found an Adler (OEM) one for $104, shipping included, and also a PBR for $160.34, shipping included.
I am curious to know if anyone else has replaced these and if so with what product?
Many thanks.

I replaced mine with another stock unit. But iirc it was less than $168.
I'd contact Len at Baranco and see what he can do for you.

With 95,000 miles and a hell of a lot of track use...I have replaced my brake MC once, with another OEM stock unit from Len at Baranco.
I'm not sure why we'd want to use anything else.
Please make sure you understand the procedures involved with getting the air removed. Otherwise, you'll be right back here complaining about how impossible it is.

Yes it is.
Along with the 98+ GS-Rs, although they have a different brake fluid reservoir and one of the fittings is larger.

Good info
I was wondering about the differences between 98+ GSR vs. ITR.

Thanks for all the input...trust me Len is on the "who to call" list for Monday morning...I was just curious if anyone tried anything different and it looks like OEM LEN gets the win.
Many thanks

I stand corrected....
Though I wonder if there's a difference between the Canadian GS-Rs and US ones....or perhaps the one I recall seeing got ganked by the previous owner before being sold to the current owner....
