price is in Canadian dollars.

I was wondering what you guys think it's worth ?

10,500 for a CRX?

 

10,500 Canadian is still.... plenty more than I would pay in American. I love CRX's but I honestly can't justify anything more than $5,000 for one. All of mine have been much under that; 91 Si was about $3,000, 89 HF was $800, and 88 Si (shell) was $400... You can spend all the extra money on goodies to make it nice again! Looks like a beauty though!

 

hey rob find me a clean on like that for around $10,000 cheaper

 

5500 max. with the us/cdn exchange lately it doesnt even matter...lol
offer him 5000 and wait for him to call. nice car, looks like triple mint shapebut seriously who is gonna dump 10500 on a stock crx.

buy a jdm sir and do a lhd conversion...LOL
prolly cost the same if not lee and a much better car

 

well when i bought my CRX like 6 yrs ago i paid 6200 canadain and it had 135,000km
so 10,500 for it is way to high for that price u can et a RHD CRX shipped over. hell for 10,500 i would sell my car for that.
i wouldnt pay more then 6g's even know it looks mint

I don't know 95K is like 60,000 miles that is amazing for a CRX. If you have the money buy it, and only drive it on the weekends. It's like those muscle car guys with cars from the 60's with 50,000 miles on them. If CRX's mean alot to you then it is 100% worth it otherwise just buy a crappier one and fix it.

 

thats way too much for a crx. doesn't matter if it has 60k on it or not. But to each its own

 

What was the cost of them new when they were released?

So I went to see the car today. Here are the minor problems with it.

- hood was repainted
- rusty inside engine bay parts
- rusted exhaust manifold
- needs new timing belt + water pump
- No air conditioning
- 5 Minor rust pits on the sunroof
- 2 touched up scratches on the passenger 1/4 panel
- dent on rear upper 1/4 panel above rear window

Besides that, car is mint. I rate it 8 outta 10.

I offered him $7500 Canadian. He said he'll let me know.. He thinks he can get more.

 

If i was you, i'd pick up a clean rex and throw the SiR front end and paint it, it'd look better and you'd prolly spend a lil less for more.

 

man for about 7-8gs CDN you can get a imported CRX, 10gs thats way too high of a price, you can get so many other cars for that price that are alot better in value IMHO...i'm from Toronto too by the way...i got mine for 1300 (88 crx si), had things to be fixed but I dont mind, all the parts are gonna be replaced aftermarket anyway. I dont see the point in spending this much unless your gonna keep it stock and garaged as a collectors car.

 

You have no idea how hard it is to find a gem like this..

It might not be worth $10,500, but its pretty close to that....

I agree, especially in Toronto..but for me this would be a car that would probably stay in the garage and kept more as a collectors car...but thats just me.

It is in amazing condition...no doubt its a gem...but 10gs for a used crx just seems really high to me, more power to the seller if he/she gets what they are asking for.

 

to me it looks as if that engine bay has seen more then 95 k kms...

maybe its cause east winters destroy cars quickly..

if that guy thinks he can get 10 grand hes smoking something

 

You guys and importing CRX. It's impractical to have RHD. The novelty of it will wear off so fast. Not only that, but it's currently banned to import a RHD drive. Government is trying to get more money out of importing.

i'd say its worth around 8k

 

where's the front lip???? i think something happened to the front end.

 

i dont know about up there but down here you can get a 200x cleaner car than that for cheaper
