Default sony cybershot thread

for a while i've been really into photography thanks to many threads on here, i finally picked up a brand new sony cybershot DSC-W70. i've found lots of threads for canon users, so lets see what the sony camera's can do

kosher as in ps, or running hot? No ps and it was funny with the ex cluster the temp was normal but then when i put in the sir it always shows that its running a little hot

im tryin to figure out how to mess with the shutter speed. can you help me out with that, i read the manual and that didnt help at all

i want to know how to take a pic like this

yeah its weird, when i put the ex cluster in it shows its normal. But with the sir it shows thats its a little hot

Usually its just having good lighting, but i have a sony wide angle lens also.
And in photoshop i really dont mess with them too much, just a lil color, resize, border, text. Especially for night photos, lighting is key.

There's no shutter speed in the ones I had/have (DSC-P5, DSC-P10, and DSC-LT1...or whatever it is, the flat one).

the w70 should have some pre-set shutter speeds that you can use. put the camera on "P" or "M" I beleive, then click on menu. You should be able to find it there
