Default 91 si rex motor in and out for build

Long story short--the buisness I got this zc sohc from said they would rebuild it for free cause the rings are shot and a slight rod knock at start up--the catch is I have to take out the motor and put it back in, no picker or garage etc...

My question is can the motor be taken out with the tranny and all still in the car?

Is that harder than just yankin the whole thing?

Never torn down a front wheel drive before-any help?

searched to no avail, so far...

it is easier to take out whole thing....put car on jackstands and take it all out the bottom

You should be able to rent a cherry picker from autzone through their tool rental service, you get your money back once you bring it back.
