I have 98 civic coupe with pretty much stock exhaust and motor and I was wondering if I was going to get a bigger muffler what size would I be able to get and what are some good brands?? thanks

 

i like 42" mufflers they are so much bigger than the stock one. J/K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

4" tip is perfect in my opinion

 

get triple exjausts that are 3' each

look, the diameter of the pipe going into the muffler right now, is the size you should replace it with. a higher flow muffler will help, but probably not enough for the dyno to catch a diffrence. change the whole exhaust if you want to go bigger, but on a stock motor (especially a D series) 2" is plenty big
