2000 base prelude. 5spd.
my gf's car (same car, different year) had the timing belt snap. when it snapped, it broke the tdc sensor. i took the one from my car so we could get hers running to take to the track. anyway, i bought one from a guy on preludeonline.com that said it was working fine. it looked great. i put it on, now my car won't start.
i'm getting plenty of spark.
the fuel pump primes and i can smell fuel.
i replaced the dist. cap and rotor.
i reset the ecu.
it still won't start. sometimes it sounds like it want's to fire up, but won't.
any ideas?
could the icm or ignitor be bad and still have spark at the plug wires?

the car that broke the timing belt isn't the one that won't start.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Rosko »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">are you sure it didnt bend a bunch of valves when it broke?

yea, spark from all 4 plugs. i'm kinda assuming the tdc sensor is bad since i didn't have this problem before, but i just don't wanna have to go into that again. is there any way to test it without taking it off?
