So Ive got a d16a6 motor in my 88 crx si, I had a venom intake manifold on here until today, couldnt take the idle aymore so Im taking it off and swapping it for this hogged out ( i bleieve d16a6 manifold )




Now It has the iacv on the left, and the air intake temp on the very far left, but wtf is the thing in the middle?, it has a plug on it, I dont have a connector for it though do I? Im pretty sure Ive only got a plug for the intake temp sensor and the tps

I also have NO idea what that big brass barb on th eleft side of the pic is for, can anyone tell me?

what piece exactly are you talking about??? the black thing on top is the purge control solenoid, i cant see anything in the middle.

the big brass looking barb on the drivers side of the manifold is the vacuum connector, goes to the brake booster, did your venom not have one???

 

My venom did not have the black piece on the backside of the intake with the wire and connector on it, thats what I was wonderring was

that black piece is just the purge control solenoid, dont worry about it, its emmisions control stuff.
