Default Question on Wheels for 06 CRV

1. Hey, I'm planning on getting new wheels but I heard going bigger than stock could mess with your ****.. like Rollover control, ABS, or some other stuff. Is this true? Does it mess with your mileage/speedometer?
2. My 06 CRV comes stock with 16" wheels, I'm thinking of going 17". Does anyone have experience with the 06 CRV? It looks like a damn close fit, I don't know if it could even make it. Will 17"s fit?

Thanks,
Tim.

you have to adjust tire size also. for every size larger you need to go one size wider and drop one size for the sidewall. for instance my 04 has 205/70/15 iwould need 215/65/16 or 225/60/17 and so on

as said above,if you keep your overall tire diameter that same as stock, there's no chance of problems.try this:
http://www.americanracing.com/...r.htm
enter the stock tire size and see what you come up with.then find a size tire in 17" or 18"(whatever size wheel you want)that's the same diameter as stock.

I've also heard that increasing the size can mess w/ the ABS, etc....but I recently changed my tires from the OEM 215-70-16 to 235-70-16's and I haven't had any issues. I had read up on some other E drivers that had this config for up to two years and hadn't had any issues.

Needless to say, I'm happy w/ my tire upgrade. The load rating on the OEM's just wasn't enough if you plan on carrying a full load in the truck.

BTW, I went w/ Bridgestone Dueler REVO's
