We swapped a LS into my EG and now it wont start. Last night we pulled apart the harness and checked and ohm'd out EVERY wire in the car pretty much. The funny thing is, when the key is turned to accesory, normally the CEL and Oil light will come on, which they arent now. I just got a brand new distributor and its throwing code 15 and 43. Anyone have a clue, we tried 2 ecu's and thats not the problem too.

 

are u getting spark, fuel? check all the stupid stuff like grounds. i had to prime the fuel before my ls would fire up in the hatch. it had to build pressure. i turned the key to ON till the fuel pump turned off then repeated that like 3x and she fired up.

BECAREFUL not to wash down the cylinders when u keep tryin to start this puppy.

 

we figured it out, when the auto to manual swap was done, a power lead was dangling on a ground causing popped fuses and causing the Igniter to go bad. Fixed and been driving.
