92 rear caliper bracket rusted on
hey my g/f's rear brakes started making noise, so i ripped the the rear passenger tire off to do a brake pad change. a month ago i bought this car, and it was sitting for a year so ive done some minor work to get everything right on it.
my problem is that the lugs were all rusted on to the studs, so i broke all four off. i can do the brake pad change now but to get the rotor off to put the new studs on i have to take off the caliper bracket. i took the first bolt out(top) but now the bottom bolt is rusted on. i sprayed it with wd40 and let it sit all night, a ratchet wont fit because the suspension doesnt have enough clearance even for the socket. so i put vice grips on and used fitted wrenches. both are just stripping this bolt.
before i do more damage how can i get this bolt out? i know i could use a torch, but i dont have one here... any ideas?

Use PB blaster, and whatever you do, do NOT use vice grips. You might need to get a longer wrench, use the closed end if it will fit. If you don't have an acetylene torch, you could buy one of those butane pen torches, I have never used one myself, but hear they work well. I hope you didn't already damage the bolt too much. Good luck.
the closed end of the wrench is what i used first, it stripped it a little i remember bob villa selling a wrench for stripped bolt, maybe ill stop by home depot or sears....no torch's
my buddy stopped by with a socket set he got for xmas. the teeth inside the socket are spiraled so when it turns it digs into the bolt and frees it, full can of wd40 and 2 new bolts later i finished the brake job...good thing i wasnt paying labor
