Default carsound catalytic converter

which carsound catalytic converter do I need to match my JDM 4-1 header and RSR exmag catback? do i need to buy a new O2 sensor or i can use my OEM sensor. This set up is for my 2001 ITR Thanks

you'll need a 2.5" connection on the header side.. is the exhaust JDM sized or USDM sized? That'll determine what length converter you need and you'll need to know the diameter of the exhaust also. You should be fine with the oem sensor as long as it's functioning properly. Contact Dave at SMSP.

Did you contact them about it?

I had mine for over 4 yrs and it didnt let go until recently due to nitrous. I cleaned out the broken pieces, left the other half in, works fine.

I've had mine since 2001 no issues. But there was an older generation that had issues with the catalyst breaking up prematurely but IIRC this was resolved awhile ago possibly even before I got mine.

I actually bought a new Magnaflow cat from Mike IPS as a backup just in case but haven't yet had a need as of yet.
