D2 Suspension??? Good or Not? Also would like some more info on Function Form suspension
im going to be buying new suspension soon, so im weighing my options. im wanting to keep it around $700. im looking at this D2 stuff, Function Form, and of course Tein basic. im leaning toward the D2 and Function Form because they have adjustable dampening, and the lower end Tein's dont. i dont know much about function form or d2 stuff, so i was just looking for some outside input. thanks!
here's a link to the stuff im looking at:

Firstly, you need to specify how you're planning on using the new suspension. This is the RR/AX forum, so if you plan to run in auto-x or road racing, you would be better off with some OTS Konis and Ground Control C/O kit and Eibach springs in spring rates that will depend on your experience, type of use, and type of car. In addition, are you using an anti-roll bar? If so, which one? The answer to this question will affect the answer to spring rates as well. What you might want to do is do a search in the suspension forum and find some answers to your questions based on all the variables I just mentioned. Good luck.

i had the gc/koni setup on my hatch and loved it for track use, but for daily driving it was a bit too bouncy. i had 600# springs in front and 500# springs in back.
this set will be for my integra gsr. i'll be using the stock rear sway bar. it will mainly be for daily driving/street use, but i plan on doing some road race events at our local road racing track here. i know that something that kicks *** on the road course is gonna suck on the street as far as comfort goes, but i kinda want to find a happy medium.
and i would LOVE to be able to search for "D2", but the search function of this site does not let you go lower than 3 letters

Try using the standard GC rates for the Integra, which are about half the rates you had on the Civic. They handle way better than stock and are reasonable for a daily driver IMHO.

I've had the D2's on my Civic and felt that it was a bit too firm. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED them for canyon carving in my area, but driving 50 miles to work, and 50 miles back everyday got to be a bit abusive. I've got Function Form on there now, and while they supposedly have stiffer spring rates, the ride actually feels much more comfortable.
The D2's are going into my project Hatch this summer for track use
