Default Racing Seats on the DA (fellow DA owners please advise)

I'm thinking of buying these racing seats for my 90 DA: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
My oem seats are torn. i've gone around junk yards looking for some decent ones but they all have the same tear in the same spot (driver's seat entry side). so i said f*ck it, i'll just get racing seats. what do you ppl think? is it a bitch to install? how long would it take? do i have to do any fabrications? (rails, sliders, etc). i dunno much about racing seats. plus im also worried about the motorized seatbelts...will that be an obstacle? please reply asap cuz im really thinkin of gettin these sometime this weekend. thanks in advance.

its good an comfy, there shouldnt be any weldin if you buy the slider or rail for it. an you're seatbelt should still work fine, but its better to buy the seatbelt harness. It well give it a better look an make you're drive more safety. goodluck.

Yes. A harnesss requires a roll cage for safety reasons. If you flip the car with a harness and no cage, the change of severe head trauma is increased. With a normal shoulder belt, you can at least slide to the side if the roof crushes.

True or you could do what I did and for now just bolt the harness down to the floor board. If I were to drive down the street with a roll cage and seat belt harness, my car would be quite the target. Either way be careful and make sure it's done right.
