My Real first Car.....
whats good H-T i have been a memeber here for a some time and havent had a car of my own to show all you guys!!! long story short i had a 88 crx with a 94 gsr but i couldnt get the car to run do to electrilcal issues so i junked it and i finally got enough money to take on a new project. keep in mind when i got this car was a bone stock 93 dx auto coupe and with the little money i had i made it what i could.... the car isnt done yet but i figured while i was sittin around i would put a couple pics together and post them up.
i dont have any pic of the car when i first got it so this is after i sanded the body did the body work and primered the car
this is a pic of the engine bay after i pulled the motor and before i painted it
a pic of the suspension i got from my friend for a crackhead price
lil history behind the motor... i got the long block (94 b18c1) for free for doin a swap for a friend of mine. the motor had absolutly no power in my boys car so i did a full bottom end rebuild with all oem internals and cleand up the head considering it didnt look to be in bad shape... the tranny is a 95 gs-r i bought for 100 from the same kid that gave me the motor. the only thing wrong with it is that ia has the smallest 4 gear grind nothin i cant fix in time....
a couple pics of the engine bay after me and a friend painted it
and as it sits as of 45 min ago with them motor in and ready to start all i need is a dizzy, fuel filter and line, battery, spark plugs and wires...
i still need some suspension pieces to drive the car but it will all be done in a few weeks. the car is gunna be painted the same as the engine bay aswell as the interior!!!!

not really just new oem main and rod bearings oem pistons and rods and new oem rings otherwise all original

i wish i could tell you but it some kind of silver... my friend that is paintin the car had a gallon of this silve paint so we sprayed it on my old hood to see what it looked like and it turned out to be a really nice color... it is a darker silver with a hint of green in it i like the color a lot!!!!!
