Default apexi ws cat-back, worth it for mild steel?

I'm in massachusetts, hopefully won't have to drive my 4th gen in the winter, but do you think it would be worth it to have the mild steel? I hate rust, but i don't see any exhausts like the world sport with stainless tubing all the way through.

Upstate NY here. I have the same worry. I would go with a Stainless Steel. Mild steel will be rusted out in 6minutes with the ammount of salt that they use up here.

I'd go stainless.

You should keep in mind that rust isn't all from the outside - when moisture collects in the exhaust piping (particularly on drives less than ~15mins long) rust starts on the inside. You could live in desert conditions and still rust out your exhaust piping (although it would take awhile)

I personally can't justify spending over $400 on an exhaust that isn't full stainless anyways.

The Fujitsubo Legalis R and Tanabe Hyper Medallion are similar exhausts that are both full 304 stainless. Both are pretty quiet at cruise and low rpms and bioth have the standard oval muffler (no coffee can). The Tanabe runs $470 shipped while the Fujitsubo is closer to Mugen at about $800 shipped. They also both have better ground clearance than the WS2.

I would highly recomend the Tanabe SMH. Its quiet at highway speeds but has a nice growl at full throtle. I also decided not to go WS2 because it was not SS and because its a chambered exhaust.
