Default AC belt question

89 Si,

anyone ever try bypassing their AC??

It looks like I need a 5 rib 29" belt to run just the alternator

A few people just leave their PS belt off and just run a belt from the alternator to the crank pully

i dropped the power steering a few years ago, but the main crank pulley still runs the AC, maybe I'll just buy a belt, see if it works and if it makes any difference, my AC needs recharging so it isn't doing anything right now anyways
